Spread a Little Valentine’s Love
The Rotary Club of Port Moody wanted to Spread a Little Love on Valentines day
During COVID the seniors at Eagle Ridge Manor were not allowed any visitors and this was a way for us to show them that we cared.
We solicited help from the community by going on Facebook to ask if anyone wanted to make Valentine’s card for the residents of Eagle Ridge Manor. St James’ Well offered to have a collection box for the cards to give a central location for the public to deposit their creations.
Our Club had a Zoom night where we all got together virtually and made cards together.
The outcome was amazing! We had over 200 Valentine’s cards made and we delivered them to the Manor. The residents were thrilled that people cared about them.
This once again proves what an amazing community we live in. Thank you to everyone who participated.
