FAQs

All the answers to all the questions you may have about RIBFEST.

Where does RIBFEST take place?

The Port Moody Rotary RIBFEST is located in Rocky Point Park at 2800 Murray Street, Port Moody, BC. Click here to view map.

Can I bring my dog or other pets?

Unfortunately for health and safety reasons pets are not allowed in the food areas. On duty service dogs are welcome.

What is the cost of admission?

Admission is by donation.

Can I refill my water bottle onsite?

Yes! Due to Ribfest having a site-wide liquor license, no outside beverages of any kind are permitted in. However, there are water stations just inside both entrances where you can refill your water bottle.

Do food & beverage vendors accept credit or debit cards?

All Canadian-issued (and most non-Canadian issued) credit cards and debit cards are accepted. In addition, there are multiple ATM machines on site.

What other kinds of foods are available in addition to pork ribs?

Our BBQ vendors will also serve beef ribs, chicken, corn on the cob and there will be one vegetarian food truck! Plus there are other permanent establishments in Rocky Point Park for you to enjoy such as Pajo’s Fish & Chips and Rocky Point Ice Cream.

Are there places to sit while eating?

There will be tables and chairs available to sit at. If you want to enjoy a cold beverage with your food then this is where you will want to grab your seat (available on a first come, first serve basis).

Otherwise, feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets and set up your own picnic on the grass.

What are the hours of operation?

Friday, July 19 from 11am – 9pm
Saturday, July 20 from 11am – 9pm
Sunday, July 21 from 11am – 9pm

How should I get there?

We recommend using transit as we receive 50,000 visitors over the three day event. Information on your transit, parking and biking options can be found on the Parking & Transport page.

Will there be shuttle buses to Rocky Point Park?

No, unfortunately there is not a shuttle this year. However the Moody Centre Skytrain Station is a short 800 metre walk from the park.

Buses #181 & 182 from Moody Centre Station stop right in front of the park.

Can I bring a small day tent to shelter from the sun?

No, unfortunately day tents are not permitted at Ribfest. There will be ample sheltered seating for those who want to stay out of the sun.
