ABOUT RIBFEST

Every summer over an extended weekend Rotary Club of Port Moody hosts RIBFEST. It’s a favourite community event that draws thousands of people from the Tri-Cities and beyond, who follow their noses and their appetites to Rocky Point Park.

Since it started in 2015, RIBFEST has been the largest annual community event in Port Moody. An estimated 50,000 visitors attend the festival over the three days with 35-40% of those people coming from outside of Port Moody.

It takes a lot of people and resources to make RIBFEST happen. Rotary Club of Port Moody partners with several key sponsors each year, as well as working with the three other Rotary clubs in the Tri-Cities. In addition, a small army of 700 volunteers are needed and the result is the Club’s biggest annual fundraising event.

The money collected during RIBFEST is used to fund a myriad of projects in and around Port Moody, all with the sole purpose of bettering the community, such as:
